"K-MARKET Leads the Effort to Support Central Vietnam's Typhoon Recovery"

Go Sang-gu, Chairman of K-MARKET (K-마켓) and former president of both the 10th and 11th Hanoi Korean Association and the Federation of Korean Associations in Vietnam, has once again taken the lead in supporting Vietnam's recovery efforts. This time, he has pledged to be a "guardian angel" for the victims of Typhoon Hà Tĩnh in Central Vietnam.

On June 17, Chairman Go donated 600 million VND (approximately 32.64 million KRW) to Hà Tĩnh Province, which suffered severe damage from a recent typhoon that has yet to be fully recovered.

At the donation ceremony, former Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang expressed his gratitude, stating, “Despite the economic difficulties, I deeply thank those who made the decision to help. I am especially grateful to Chairman Go Sang-gu and other benefactors for empathizing with the struggles of the Vietnamese people affected by the floods.”
